North Cities One-Stop Career Center Operator RFP Questions and Answers #2

NORTH CITIES ONE-STOP CAREER CENTER OPERATOR RFP

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

From Questions Submitted on Monday, November 22, 2004

Q1. Can you please advise the bidders of the specific names of the mandated
partner agencies and the contact information for their authorized representatives?

A1. The ACWIB does not have a list of the partner agencies or their contacts. It is expected that the Bidder would determine that information as part of the development of the RFP. The City of Berkeley was the previous contractor and held the MOUs with the mandated and voluntary partners. Delfina Geiken was the Site Manager and can be reached at (510) 981-7551.

Q2. Can you please advise the bidders of the operating costs of the current one-stop career center site (occupancy, MIS services, utilities, etc.) should a bidder wish to use that site?

A1. The ACWIB does not have that information. Any Bidder interested in learning more about the current arrangement will need to contact the current providers. For PY 2004/2005, the City of Berkeley is leasing the space to Pro Path Inc. who is responsible for the universal, employer and adult portions of the one-stop career center activities and the City of Richmond who is responsible for the dislocated workers portion of the activities.
