REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) For
ALAMEDA COUNTY WORKFORCE INVESTMENT BOARD
“HIGH-RISK YOUTH SERVICES – ALL SERVICE AREAS” and
“FOSTER CARE YOUNGER YOUTH SERVICES”

A request for proposals (RFP) for services designed under Title I, Chapter 4 of the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) of 1998 to provide youth educational and employment activities to eligible youth between the ages of 14-21 of Alameda County, excluding the city of Oakland, is being announced.
An estimated $800,000 will be available from WIA funds for youth services to participants residing in the service area. A minimum of $200,000 is currently available from WIA funds for countywide services to Foster Care Youth described in the RFP. Service designation will be conferred for a one-year period, contingent upon availability of funds from the State of California commencing July 1, 2005.
